An ancient recipe of the Calabrian tradition passed down from generation to generation. Crocette di fichi take their name from the typical cross shape, which is obtained with four dried figs stacked on top of each other and stuffed with walnuts and peels of the smooth diamond variety of Santa Maria del Cedro citron. Subsequently baked in the oven and flavored with sugar and cinnamon. Traditionally, crocette in Calabria are used during the Christmas period to enrich the tables with the sweet fragrances of the good and simple things of the past, those that taste of family, memories but above all love. A true delight to be enjoyed at the end of meals with a good liqueur. You will savor all the flavor of our tradition.
